Commitment to Confidentiality
Your privacy is treated with care and respect at The Bridge Counselling. Creating a safe and protected space is essential for meaningful therapeutic work.
All information shared in counselling, whether spoken, written, or submitted through forms, is handled discreetly and stored securely. Access to client records is restricted, and administrative processes are designed to protect sensitive data at every stage.
Professional confidentiality is a core ethical responsibility. As a registered practitioner guided by recognised counselling standards in Singapore, Sharon Dhillon adheres to strict confidentiality requirements. No information is released to third parties without your clear permission, except where disclosure is legally required or where there is serious risk of harm to you or another person.
Sessions are conducted in a private setting, whether in person at the Orchard Road clinic or online through secure video. Boundaries around confidentiality, including its limits, are explained clearly at the outset so you understand how your information is protected.
Policies and procedures are reviewed regularly to ensure continued compliance with ethical and legal standards, including applicable data protection regulations in Singapore.
Your story belongs to you. It is treated with discretion, professionalism, and care.
